Never give up. I never will.
"Wherever my career takes me, I will always bring my coding skills along, not just because it's my job, but because I genuinely love it."
Coding after long shifts
I learned front-end development before and after full warehouse workdays. I had bills to pay and a family to support as the breadwinner.
Graduated with a 3.83 GPA
I balanced work, study and family, nearly quit halfway, and finished my Computer Software Engineering degree at the University of Phoenix anyway.
200+ applications
A tough first interview nearly made me give up. Instead I made coding tutorials to help others learn, and kept applying. I built a church website with React, Next.js, Tailwind and MongoDB along the way.
Landed an AI coding role
I applied one more time and got the interview the next day. That became a contract role training AI models at Outlier.
Leading on every front
I'm Operational Warehouse Manager at Aeronet Worldwide, and I'm still building Smartclocksystems and Fade & Beyond, using AI to make them stronger.
